To distinguish YABE.CLUB from the management, YABE.CLUB is the site referred to by these terms. YABE.CLUB is an online community blog. Meanwhile, the management is the organization operating the site named “Youth for A Better Education.
Your privacy while using YABE.CLUB is of utmost importance to the management. This privacy statement describes the policy on gathering and sharing user information through the site. By using the site, its features and services, you agreed to the conditions stated herein.
Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
You may use YABE.CLUB without providing personal information and browse our content for free. Whenever you decide to voluntarily give some personal information, YABE.CLUB collects information pertaining to your name, email, and birthdate. The management may use this personal information you voluntarily provide for the following purpose:
- To update you pertaining to the organization or new content published in the site;
- To contact you in response to your query or suggestion;
- To invite you to take surveys or online polls;
- To send you some documents and message; and
- To perform assessment and evaluation.
Pertaining to Newsletter Subscription
Upon subscription to YABE.CLUB newsletter, information that you voluntarily provide will be stored within mail chimp, the third-party service that we employ to collect and store the information of our subscribers. When there’s an update from the organization in general or a new content to our site, we mail you these content right to your email addresses that you provide. If you decide to stop receiving updates from us, you have the right to unsubscribe from the newsletter service.
Pertaining to Membership & Volunteer Registration
Upon registration as a member of YABE.CLUB or registration as a volunteer to YABE, information that you voluntarily provide will be stored first within YABE.CLUB’s database as you go through with our screening process. Once you passed our screening process, your information will be transferred to our Volunteer Management System (VMS) where you will have access to it. A default login credential is given to you which you can update upon your first login. We are doing this to avoid fraudulent users entering our system and to protect our members and volunteers. If you wish to end your membership and volunteer status with the organization, you can freely delete your account. While the organization may no longer be able to connect with you, the membership coordinator or volunteer manager may still be able to contact you as a result of your direct communication with them. If you don’t want to be contacted with them, you are free to request or advice them.
Pertaining to Contact Forms
If you decide to send us a message using one of our contact forms, your information is directly sent to our primary email and we use the information that you provide to respond to you.
Pertaining to Third-Party Softwares
YABE.CLUB may contain further links to other external sites. YABE.CLUB is not responsible for the privacy practices of such sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave the site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.
If you are a member or volunteer, your account user ID and password are given to you as default login credentials. But upon your first login, you will be asked to change them. Your new account user ID and password will be privy to you. Hence, it is your responsibility to keep it private. You also have control over your personal information and the content shared on your profile.
All registration entries to our volunteer management system (VMS) are manually approved and filed in the system to protect the website from unlawful access. While the main YABE.CLUB page may be accessed by anyone, the VMS is for members and volunteers access only.
This privacy statement may change from time to time as the site evolves and all updates will be posted on this page.
